Brighton College is seeking to appoint a Window Cleaning Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.\n\nReporting to: Deputy Head of Facilities Services (Cleaning)\n\nMain purpose of the role: To help create pleasant, safe, and visually appealing environments across all schools and properties in Brighton College by ensuring the efficient and reliable provision of window cleaning services.\n\nGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nCleaning interior and exterior glass across all sites.\nThe creation of a cleaning rota based on the requirements and accessibility of the buildings.\nEnsuring that all window cleaning equipment is in good working order.\nCleaning up after each job, ensuring that there is no residue or dirt left behind.\nAssisting the rest of the cleaning department, as and when required.\nAny other reasonable management request.\nAdditional cleaning will be required for Open Mornings and College events across all Brighton College sites, which may require weekend working as overtime.Person Specification:\n\nThe successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:\n\nA valid driving licence.\nProven window cleaning experience.\nEffective communication skills.\nSound knowledge of the industry and related health and safety regulations.\nThe ability to work at different heights.\nThe ability to work in all weather conditions.\nExcellent problem-solving and time management skills.Hours of Work:\n\nMonday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break (40 hours per week). You will also be required to work additional hours to support four Saturday Open Mornings from 6.00am to 9.00am which will be paid to you in addition to your salary.\n\nRemuneration:\n\nThe salary for this role will be £28,080 per annum.
