Principal Consultant - LCA & Circular Economy\n\nLocation: London (Hybrid Working)\nSalary: £52,000 - £63,000\n\nOverview\n\nAn established sustainability and engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead the delivery of Whole Life Carbon, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Circular Economy projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of new build, refurbishment and fit-out developments.\n\nIf you are an experienced consultant with a passion for sustainability, this position will allow you to take ownership of impactful projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and expanding sustainability team.\n\nBenefits\n\nA competitive benefits package, including:\n\nSalary: £52,000 - £63,000.\nHybrid working model (up to 3 days working from home).\nPrivate healthcare coverage.\nEnhanced pension contributions.\nSupport for professional memberships and certifications.\nAdditional holiday incentives.\nAccess to electric vehicle and cycle-to-work schemes.\n\nDay-to-Day\n\nYour typical day will involve:\n\nCollaborating with clients and project teams to deliver sustainability-focused solutions.\nConducting detailed LCA and Embodied Carbon assessments using OneClick LCA.\nPreparing and presenting Circular Economy strategies and reports.\nManaging project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.\nProviding mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.\nStaying updated on industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Principal Consultant, you will:\n\nLead Whole Life Carbon and Embodied Carbon assessments using OneClick LCA.\nDeliver Circular Economy Statements and develop innovative strategies.\nProduce high-quality reports in line with BREEAM and GLA requirements.\nAdvise project teams on carbon reduction opportunities and sustainable design strategies.\nManage project delivery, including budgets and client relationships, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.\nMentor and support junior consultants, fostering their professional growth.\nContribute to business development efforts, including preparing proposals and expanding service offerings.\n\nQualifications\n\nTo excel in this role, you will need:\n\nA minimum of 5 years' experience in LCA, Embodied Carbon, or Circular Economy consultancy.\nProficiency in using OneClick LCA software.\nDemonstrated experience delivering BREEAM and GLA-compliant assessments.\nA strong understanding of RICS, LETI, UKGBC, and Net Zero Carbon guidance.\nExcellent project management and client-facing skills.\nA relevant degree in Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful impact in the field of sustainability, we would love to hear from you.\n\nFor a confidential discussion, please get in touch
