EMEA Payroll Specialist

Portfolio Payroll are proud to be partnering with a high-end prestigious financial services organisation.\n\nJob Overview\n\nWorking within the EMEA payroll team you will be responsible for running payrolls for various countries across the EMEA region.\n\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare all payroll inputs to the payroll provider for EMEA payrolls (joiners, leavers, fixed and variable pay changes, holidays etc).\nPrepare payroll reports for management to review in adherence with SOX controls\nStreamline and automate manual tasks by leveraging current systems in place\nHave a keen eye for payroll compliance, ensuring well regulated processes.\nEnsure SOPs and process documentation is kept up to date.\nAudit and validate all payroll transmissions for accuracy and reasonability of variances\nAccurately report compensation related to equity\nDevelop ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed\nManage time and tasks to execute all payrolls accurately and timely\nPerform/review prior period adjustments as needed\nFirst level payroll contact for all payroll inquiries via ServiceNow.\nResearch, analyze and resolve payroll-related queries\nCreate and import data into Cloudpay payroll system\nProcess timely and with confidentiality\nPartner with HR/HRIS/Benefits to understand and support voluntary payroll deductions.\nPartner with HRIS/3rd party configuration support to report and resolve Cloudpay issues\nSupport Finance, HR, and other business partners to deliver accurate payroll \n\nWHO YOU ARE:\n\n3+ years of multi country payroll processing experience\nCurrent experience with Workday HCM/ Cloudpay, payroll system ideal.\nStrong knowledge of payroll best practices\nAnalytical skills and ability to perform detailed, technical payroll calculations\nCritical thinking skills to resolve issues or improve processes.\nAbility to prioritise and work under deadline pressures\nExperience with reporting equity compensation\nPossess an aptitude for customer service\nSelf-starter who can work independently and learn quickly\nStrong communication skills both written and verbal\nStrong attention to detail\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, excel xlookups and pivot tables\nPreviously worked with a publicly held company\nUnderstanding of SOX compliance requirements\nExperience with Germany and France payrolls is a plus\nCIPP is a plus \n\n51792BW\n\nINDTEMP\n\nThe Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position
