Belfast and Lisburn (City Centre & Community Centres)\n\nPart-time & Flexible Hours Available\n\n£13.47 - £14.35 per hour\n\nAbout the Opportunities\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of Belfast City Council for a number of Community Development and Community Centre Support roles across Belfast.\n\nThese roles sit within community services and focus on supporting local people, community groups, and community facilities.\n\nWe are looking for people who are hands-on, community-focused, and confident working with the public in both development and operational settings.\n\nRoles May Include\n\nDepending on assignment, duties may involve:\n\nCommunity Development / Social Care Focus\n\nSupporting community programmes and local projects\nWorking with volunteers and community groups\nAssisting with funding applications and reporting\nSupporting community engagement and outreach activities\nBuilding relationships with local organisations and agencies \n\nCommunity Centre / Facilities Focus\n\nActing as key holder for community centres\nSupporting bookings, enquiries, and public use of facilities\nSetting up rooms, equipment, and event spaces\nCarrying out health & safety checks and building supervision\nSupporting cash handling and basic administration\nEnsuring centres are clean, safe, and welcoming \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in TWO or more of the following:\n\nCommunity development, youth work, social care or outreach\nWorking in community centres or public-facing environments\nSupporting or supervising volunteers\nCustomer service or facilities-based roles\nBasic administration, bookings, or record keeping \n\nKey Skills\n\nAwareness of safeguarding, equality, and health & safety\nFlexible and reliable approach to working hours \n\nWhy Apply?\n\nMultiple community-based opportunities across Belfast\nImmediate start temporary roles
